This Cinco de Mayo at South Bay MINI was a blast! Weeman brought the party to life, bringing his yummy Chronic Tacos, KROQ was here with rockin’ music and we raffled off Vans Warped Tour Tickets, prizes, and a $1000 gift certificate towards a new MINI!

It’s been almost two years since the MINI Roadster concept was revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt auto show. Production is already gearing up and the Roadster is on track to debut in March or April 2012.

The soft-top Mini Roadster is expected to be extremely similar to the Coupe, with no changes to the chassis or engine lineup. Three versions will be offered: base coupe, midlevel S and top-level John Cooper Works performance edition. The Roadster will feature the same range of engines available in the standard Cooper line, including naturally aspirated and turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinders. It will remain front wheel drive and the suspension and handling is predicted to be more neutral, due to some of it’s weight being shifted to the rear for better distribution.

Since the specs are almost identical to the Cooper hatchback, the new Mini Coupe and Roadster should not require much modification of production setup at the company’s factory in Oxford, England.

Finally, after a few months of waiting, South Bay Mini showed the world their “behind the scene” shots while making the Beatthebrits.co.uk video. Dave, together with the director and production team worked hard to create an enjoyable yet very informative ad. The ad aims to spread the news about the dream that Los Angeles have which is becoming the World’s number one in dealership of minis. The video is encouraging everyone to help them gather votes in overthrowing the Brits from their current position as the number 1 in dealership throughout the world.

According to Dave who is playing the role of a British soldier in the video, this experience is quite ironic. Since he is a stunt man and an actor, he works very hard with his stunts and he makes sure he doesn’t fall. However, in this Mini USA ad, he gets paid to fall.

Everybody who became part of this ad was very happy knowing that the making of it was a success. And people from the team would like to invite everyone to please support Los Angeles Mini in representing the state as it reaches its dream of becoming the world’s number one in dealership.

Oliver and his friends from mini Los Angeles insiders are on their mini cooper when they saw Nigel. Nigel is on the opposite direction and is on his way to the beach.  They have been watching Nigel’s every step so they could take a sneak at his mini car.  Nigel didn’t even notice them since he enjoyed seeing a lot of people around.

He immediately went off the car to have a walk at the coast since the weather is really fine. Without a second thought, Oliver and his friends went to Nigel’s car and started a disaster. Nigel just got this brand new car from South bay mini last week and he was just trying to have a test drive.

Oliver started spraying BeatTheBrits.co.uk at both sides of the car. They sprayed the windows of the mini USA initials with an exclamation emphasizing the cheers for USA. Everybody saw this but they didn’t care to stop him. They were just getting excited of the thought that Nigel might catch Oliver and that could be a very good seen to watch.

Nigel went back and saw his car. He was screaming then Oliver went out and was chased at the middle of Los Angeles mini way to his car.

Beat the Brits campaign has been heard all over California that’s why people want to hear what’s this issue all about straight from them, the mini so cal. We have invited Drew from Mini Southern California to explain what this matter is. He said, this campaign aims to have the title of being the best dealer of mini cars in the world.

Last year they were proclaimed as number one in sales for mini USA and so this year they are aiming for a higher level which is being the top in the world. Different representatives have joined, and so this gives them a number of very tough competitors like mini Orange County and London.

In Los Angeles mini cars has been one of the favorite collections of the public that is why they are inviting not just the enthusiast, but everybody to have fun and celebrate.  He requested everyone to support them by joining the rally for mini Los Angeles is conducting. Lots of fun and surprises will be given away plus you’ll get to see new designs for mini cooper.

Join and be part of the History.

South Bay mini have conducted the first and most prestigious Redondo Beach Triathlon that was participated by lots of representatives coming from different nations. Men, women, and even kids has joined the contest and brought with them their minis.  Among the participants, people’s attention was focused on two of the representatives Oliver and Nigel from USA and England respectively.  They were on their most colorful attire that has represented the colors of their flags.  The contestants were informed that there will only be one lucky individual who will get a mini cooper once he finishes the race first.

Everybody showed their efforts to win the contest. Thinking of the latest mini Los Angeles is giving away keeps them going. They have undergone half miles for swimming, six miles for biking and two miles for running. Among the three races, Nigel has never beaten Oliver. It shows that Oliver have prepared enough for the said competition. When the third race ended, Oliver didn’t get the first place. However, he has beaten Nigel on all parts of the race as he was proclaimed the second best.

He has not gotten the wonderful mini but has raised his pride that he is better than Nigel.
