Pro Snowboarder Kelly Clark is not only a two time olympic medalist, she also does a lot of fundraising in her free time to support charities. A MINI enthusiast (Kelly drives a Countryman), she is teaming up with us a South Bay BMW/Mini and putting a Special Edition MINI Burton Snowboard up for auction to support the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Wee Man Shows Us How to Play South Bay MINI’s Game Pairopix!

Wee Man shows us how he spends his free time! He walks us through South Bay MINI’s cool IPhone and IPad game called South Bay MINI Pairopix. This is a super fun memory game where you match an image with its corresponding twin just like when we were kids and played Memory. However this version of the game is tailored for the MINI enthusiast and features the coolest MINIs and MINI related images.

Pairopix lets you select MINIS, rims, speedometer icons, or street signs to match with and you have to beat the clock while racking up points for the most correct number of matches. The game is actually harder than it looks and you really have to be good at remembering where everything is. If your memory skills are a little rusty, this is a great brain exerciser to sharpen up those recollection skills
Wee Man tries his hand at it and looks like he’s already a pro! He challenges new players to beat his highest score. So can you beat Wee Man at South Bay MINIs Pairopix?

Weeman From Jackass Parties at the South Bay Mini Cinco de Mayo Event

Spied! The 2012 MINI Roadster

It’s been almost two years since the MINI Roadster concept was revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt auto show. Production is already gearing up and the Roadster is on track to debut in March or April 2012.

The soft-top Mini Roadster is expected to be extremely similar to the Coupe, with no changes to the chassis or engine lineup. Three versions will be offered: base coupe, midlevel S and top-level John Cooper Works performance edition. The Roadster will feature the same range of engines available in the standard Cooper line, including naturally aspirated and turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinders. It will remain front wheel drive and the suspension and handling is predicted to be more neutral, due to some of it’s weight being shifted to the rear for better distribution.

Since the specs are almost identical to the Cooper hatchback, the new Mini Coupe and Roadster should not require much modification of production setup at the company’s factory in Oxford, England.
